Summary
Frank and Lenore Davis eagerly await the birth of their second child in Los Angeles. However, the baby is born monstrously deformed, kills the hospital staff, and escapes. Facing media scrutiny and police investigation, Frank loses his job. The baby continues killing people, prompting a citywide hunt. Frank discovers Lenore hiding the baby in their basement and shoots it, but the baby escapes and kills their friend Charley. Summary
Tina Gray dreams of a disfigured man with a bladed glove attacking her and wakes with slashes on her nightgown. Her friends Nancy and Glen have similar nightmares. During a sleepover, Tina’s boyfriend Rod sees her killed by an unseen force and is arrested. Nancy dreams of Fred Krueger, who burns her arm, and she wakes with a burn mark. She almost drowns at home and uses caffeine to stay awake. She sees Krueger kill Rod in his cell.
Nancy’s mother reveals Krueger was a child murderer burned alive by vengeful parents and now kills their children in dreams. Krueger kills Glen, leaving Nancy to fight him. She pulls Krueger into the real world, traps him, and sets him on fire, but he escapes and attacks her mother. Nancy makes Krueger disappear by showing no fear. The next morning, her friends and mother are alive, but Krueger traps them as they drive off, revealing it’s still a dream.

Summary
Andy and Vicky McGee gain telepathic powers from an experiment with the drug LOT-6. Their daughter Charlie has pyrokinetic abilities. After Vicky is murdered and government agents abduct Charlie from “The Shop,” Andy rescues her, and they go on the run.
They find temporary refuge with farmer Irv Manders. The Shop’s assassin, John Rainbird, captures them and tricks Charlie into trusting him. Andy fakes compliance with The Shop’s drugs to keep his powers. He arranges an escape, but Rainbird ambushes them, killing Andy. Summary
Jesse, their teenage son, has nightmares about Krueger, which he discovers are similar to Nancy Thompson’s. Jesse’s nightmares become more intense, leading him to wander the streets at night. Summary
Kristen Parker, a teenager who dreams of Freddy Krueger, is admitted to Westin Hills Psychiatric Hospital by her mother. Summary

Summary
Alice and Dan start dating, but Freddy Krueger is not present. Alice has a vision of herself dressed in a nun’s habit and attending an asylum. She wakes up and finds herself at the asylum, where she sees Amanda giving birth to a deformed baby. The baby finds Freddy’s remains and grows into an adult, hinting at his return. Summary

Summary
A poacher hides from an unknown creature on the Amazon River, and while attempting to catch him, he commits suicide by shooting himself. Meanwhile, a film crew is filming a documentary about the Shirishamas, a long-lost indigenous Amazonian tribe.
